Holy Communion is the third sacrament of initiation. We believe that Jesus is present in the Blessed Sacrament and when we eat this bread and drink this cup, we are eating the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. The sacrament of Reconciliation celebrates the forgiveness of our sins and reconciles us with God and the Church.
St. Mary students and students within the Parish School of Religion (PSR) program experience their First Reconciliation in the fall of second grade and First Communion in the spring of second grade. More information about the Sacraments of First Eucharist and First Reconciliation will be provided to the children and family throughout the year. Teachers, catechists and a team of parishioners help in the planning and implementation of these processes.
Please contact the school office (440-255-9781) for more information.
